Tabitha was awarded a BA in Politics and Sociology (2:1 UEA, 1999) and an MA in International Peace and Security (Distinction, King’s College, London, 2000) before undertaking several short-term election monitoring missions in post-conflict countries and emerging democracies between 2000 and 2012.
She returned to university in 2001 (University of Westminster, and then the Collage of Law), to train and then qualify as a lawyer in 2005. She has experience of High Court litigation and therefore a real understanding of what the prospect of Court hearings represent to you. Her dedication to conflict resolution caused her to commit fully to mediation and she is therefore no longer a practicing solicitor, but a devoted mediator and a Civil Mediation Council Registered Mediator.
She qualified as a mediator with the London School of Mediation (LSM) in 2012 and is now very pleased to be a member of their training panel. The training offered by LSM can be an individual qualification in mediation or training programmes, designed to address the critical skills of negotiation and mediation from which businesses benefit. Whatever the subject of the dispute, Tabitha has a complete commitment to bringing curiosity, observation, energy and engagement to your discussion, while remaining neutral about the outcomes you choose.
